Millie & Joe: Day Of

Remember Millie and Joe?  They were so creative and thoughtful in their design process, it was a real pleasure getting to work with them! Their big day was last month at the Standard Hotel in NYC. Their amazing photographer, Clayton Austin, took some stunning shots of their wedding including some of the day of elements we created together.

Millie had a very distinct vision of what she wanted her day of pieces to look like. She worked with Hatch Creative Studio on her centerpieces and room look. The place cards were printed on heavy kraft paper and hung from vintage lace with mini clothes pins. {great etsy find!} We created some amazing letterpress stationery {using their signature pie design} and Millie hand wrote letters to all her guests- how thoughtful! The letter was then wrapped in a thin, tan twine and a heart charm was placed by the bow. {another etsy find!} She included an old family photo and another clothes pin where she wrote the name of each guest. Overall, Millie poured her heart into this day and it shows!

An apple a day: Part II

Katie and Bill’s BIG DAY is just around the corner. I just finished up some of their day of items and I wanted to share because they are so flipping fun! Katie and Bill are getting married at her family’s apple orchard in Maine so apples have been an ongoing theme with this wedding. For the favors we did book marks {great idea!} with a quote that the bride chose written on the front and the couples logo on the back. The table cards have the apples from the invite on them with a vintage type treatment. Both were printed on a heavy kraft stock. I love how these turned out! Now on to the wedding…
