Megan + Josh :: DAY OF

One of the best things about working with a couple from their save the dates all the way through their day of elements, is seeing how everything comes together on the big day! Our old friends, Megan and Josh, {check out their poster save the date and awesome invite} took their style and quirkiness and really did it up for their day of. Megan sent over these pictures and I’m so excited to share! It’s always great to see everything “in action” so to speak. Thanks Guys!

{the happy couple… how amazing is this picture?}

Florida Tote Bag

I really love the idea of working custom tote bags into your wedding day, work event or party. They make a great giveaway or work nicely as an out of towner bag. We created these custom Florida totes for a bride getting married in the ole Floirda Panhandle. We wanted them to feel a little retro but still fun and graphic. Happy Friday everyone!

Eat, Drink & Be Merry

I love this rehearsal dinner & brunch combo invite. It’s unique with it’s fold out shape but still simple with the color choices and design aesthetic. The Bride was really keen on using quotes throughout her wedding pieces so I created a quote “bookend” on the rehearsal dinner invite. We wanted these to feel organic, like quotes written on a chalkboard. Sometimes keeping it clean is the way to go.

Jorie & Hal :: Day of Elements

Remember Jorie & Hal? They are the adorable, dog loving, wanderlust couple who got married in Vermont this past August. Jorie sent over some pictures from their big day and I am blown away at how amazing everything looked! Jorie and Hal used Belinda Norris Events as their wedding planner and Stina Booth as their creative photographer. Both ladies did such a knockout job at capturing everything Jorie and Hal were looking for. I feel lucky to have been a part of such a creative team.

How cute is this couple? Does that pose look familiar? See below…

Jorie used her custom logo to create out of towner tote bags, love the little details.

The wedding program was a 3 page booklet held together by a rustic twine. {program also doubled as a fan!}

Instead of traditional table numbers, each table had one of Jorie & Hal’s favorite locations

Jorie & Hal commissioned a custom logo that they used throughout their day of elements. This is a great way to have continuity between pieces

Custom cufflinks? Come on!! This couple is so flipping clever, I love them!

Petite Program

How sweet is this program booklet? Stephanie and Rob are a really charming couple who wanted to do a simple yet fun program for their wedding day. We wanted to keep it small in size so guests were able to throw into their bag as a keepsake. The program is 3.5″ x 5″ in size and bound with gray bakers twine. The photo on the front is held in a glassine envelope and adhered to the program. You can slide the picture in and out and pop it off and hold on to it by itself. Although small, it packs a whole lot of charm.

Don’t forget the day of

When it comes to wedding stationery, the day of elements are almost just as important as the invites. They really help create the feel that you are going for during your reception. Ken and Lucia did a bunch of really cute, fun day of details for their big day.

First we started with little burlap bags that were filled with colorful confetti. We put a little tag on each bag so the guest knew when to throw it in the air to celebrate.

For the menus, we sourced some beautiful Italian paper to mount the menus on. Lucia is Italian and we wanted to incorporate that without being too obvious. {I love the little gold detail in the paper, so pretty!}

Now this is one of my favorite ideas! Ken and Lucia has a sweet little pup named Lily and they wanted her to be a part of their big day somehow. We created this fun rubber stamp and made “doggy bags” for the cannoli bar. On the way out, guests were able to grab one of these doggy bags and fill it with some treats for the ride home.

And of course we have the program! Lucia wanted to use pictures of her and Ken and kids {look at those faces- so cute!} for the front of the program. When Lucia and I first met we were discussing different ideas and we came up with the idea of doing a timeline for the inside of the program. They have been together for 0ver 8 years so they have quite a story behind them. Lucia wrote a great little bit about each stage in their life {and it rhymed nonetheless!} together for the guests to enjoy before the ceremony started. Such a thoughtful touch.
