Lauren and Jay are one of my favorite couple’s from this year. Their save the date was one of my favorite designs ever and their invites were a force to be reckoned with {will share those soon!}. They were married last month at The Green Building here in Brooklyn. Lauren left no stone unturned. She was the ultimate visionary bride and her wedding exuded class, details, personality and humor everywhere. I was so lucky to work with her on all her paper elements; soup to nuts. I have been on a black and white kick lately. For someone who loves color so much, I am incredibly drawn to the simplicity of a good black and white design, illustration or lettering. There is a crispness about it that you can’t achieve with color. I loved that Lauren kept it simple for her day of elements and went with this color story, it really enhances the designs.
Below are some snaps that I took of her day of elements but I’m very excited to see what her amazing photographer, Trent Bailey, captured as well. We’ll be sure to share those here soon. In the meantime, check out all the little details below!
